It also holds one of the highest lion densities in the world, which is why it the home of the BBC wildlife channel’s Big Cat Diary. Sighting a leopard needs luck more than just being there, but lions are abundant and there are excellent chances for spotting cheetah. The hippo pool is a popular spot to watch out for hippos; with luck, you may catch crocodile basking on the rocks. Elephants, buffalo, the Masai giraffe, wildebeest and the common zebra abound. Day 5: Nairobi to Amboseli
This morning drive to Amboseli National Park nestled at the foothills of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Amboseli is a top destination in Kenya for wildlife. Indeed, one of the classic images of East Africa is that of a herd of elephant strolling across the plains with the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro in the background. It is to catch this sight that people flood to Amboseli National Park. While Kilimanjaro is actually across the border in Tanzania, Amboseli has a perfect view of the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, rising an impressive 5895 metres above the plains.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Approximate driving time: 5 hours
Day 6: Amboseli to Lushoto

Approximate driving time: 6 hours
Day 7: Lushoto to Dar Es Salaam
Leave early to avoid the madness of Dar’s traffic. It’s not the capital of Tanzania, but it is the largest city and a major port for East Africa. Dar Es Salaam translates to “Haven of Peace”, which may have been true once, but now it’s a bustling city. Your accommodation is on the outskirts, across the river, where it’s a bit quieter and you can enjoy the beach.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Approximate driving time: 6 1/2 hours

We had 2 weeks for Tanzania and Kenya. We came in contact with Tracey and Francis via a local guide that knew Francis. We wanted a custom made itinerary for these 2 weeks to see the Serengeti National Park and a 3 days Mt. Meru Hike. Tracey fixed this for us in no time. Via email we kept in great contact about the status.
Nothing is a problem with Tracey and Francis. They are very flexible. If we wanted something changed, they tried their best to help us and fixed it.
In the end they brought us to Nairobi where we had 3 days to explore the capitol of Kenya, which was great. They are service oriented, so give them a shot!!
